The view is good, but when the terrace is full, the service can't keep up. (Despite efforts).

We dined in the restaurant and sat on the terrace when the weather was fantastic. Nice view of the surroundings. Very friendly welcome in compliance with all hygiene and Corona rules even though we had not made a reservation. Very good service, very fine, somewhat high-priced menu. Every meal is incredibly tasty, of high quality and very finely prepared. We would like to come again.

3 stars for the view. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless, the service lame and disinterested. Unfortunately, in the end I had to calculate the bill with the online menu myself and had to leave the money at the place, as no service staff was responsible.

Very comfortable and nice hotel, fantastic restaurant

Rooms are clean, the view is super nice. Breakfast goes like this. Reservations are not going so well.

Our family celebration in October 2020 was well organized and implemented excellently. Flexibility in the implementation of the celebration despite Corona measures, perfect and delicious menu, close coordination of the Italian service staff with regard to the sequence of the menu, extremely hospitable and very nice and attentive behavior of the entire service team (despite some small, loud and raging children), it has lacked of nothing! Always happy - big praise and thank you very much!

I can't understand where the good reviews come from. We went to eat there in the evening and it wasn't busy. The first waiter was friendly, he brought us the cards and drinks, everything relatively quickly. Later in the evening, another waiter was responsible for us, and it could take 20 minutes to move to a table, even if he had brought the menu and it had long been closed on the table. The salad was good, but it was. The turkey meat, overlooked by tendons and veins, which in some cases did not taste completely true and bland, was left lying there because no one came in an adequate time to receive a complaint. In addition, the service spoke bad German, which made communication difficult anyway. At these prices, 25 euros per meal, you can expect different things if you would be served better and faster even at the station bar and the meat from the deep fryer probably tastes even better. I was last there a year ago and it was fine back then. I was warned before this visit that the quality had deteriorated rapidly and unfortunately I had to convince myself of it. Even the Aldi house brand meat is of better quality, the sauce has been bought, only the French fries were okay. Under no circumstances will I go to eat there again and would advise anyone against it.

Eh not the best food way way to expensive...like 26 for two tiny pieces of meat some noodles and a tiny salad. Not recommended....Guess the altitude of that place got to the owners head?

Very nice and stylish restaurant on the Achalm. The visit took place during the Corona period - all measures were exemplary and implemented. Fine food and drinks at reasonable prices. The service on the terrace was competent and humorous.

Super Service. Polite and courteous team in every situation. Professional process, no long waiting times. Neither at check-in nor in the in-house restaurant. The location and the infinity pool are very recommendable. Pure relaxation!

Great location, perfect service and more than brilliant location. The selection of the food was very appealing and also very tasty. Unfortunately, two of our guests went very badly afterwards and they had to spend the night in the toilet. So two stars deduction. They had both eaten the same thing. Of course, something like that must not happen otherwise we would have given five stars.

Had not reserved, but on spontaneous request on site, whether we could get a room for 1 night, we were warmly welcomed and we would be happy to be shown the possible rooms-very pleasant-clean, stylish room with the best view-thank you very much- we could also comfortably use the pool for 1 hour - due to the corona regulations not many people can use the wellness area at the same time - so we could also enjoy the silence there - you could almost keep it to avoid overcrowding - we would love to come back

Actually, I am a permanent guest here, unfortunately the hotel has reduced noticeably since the corona period although the price has remained the same. You have to make a fairly early decision about what to swim (a maximum of one hour, usually 8/9 p.m ..) and food (please choose between 6 and 7.30 p.m.). The location is a dream. I would love to come back when all the restrictions have been removed. At the moment it is annoying and time-consuming to live in the Achalm

The best hotel so far. Very nice atmosphere! Best service. Own parking garage, delicious breakfast. The unique room with the best view (Achalm Hotel) of course only in the outside room. We will be back. Greetings 👋🏼

Very relaxed hotel stay, despite Corona, was very hospitable and my electric car even got electricity for free. Booking the swimming pool also went perfectly

Food wasn't so good

Interesting location on top is a hill with views, professional staff, good restaurant for delicious lunch and dinner, very good breakfast, somewhat smaller rooms. A good location for business meetings.

An excellent hotel located on a mountain with panoramic views of the mountains and surroundings. Fresh renovation throughout the hotel, including rooms. Quality, varied breakfasts. There is a restaurant on the territory, everything is quite tasty and adequate for the price. Nice spa area with sauna, hammam and outdoor pool. There is tea and water. There is a large free car park. To the outlet in Metzingen, drive 12 minutes.

Really lovely hotel with nice modern and clean facilities. Pool is lovely and you get a really nice view from every side of the hotel. Was nice waking up to that in the morning!

Very often I was allowed to accompany weddings on the beautiful Achalm, several times in the beautiful stables as well as a smaller wedding in the tower room. The exposed location of the Achalmhotel, the professional friendly service and not least the surrounding nature inspire me again and again. Very clear recommendation !!!

Very nice view, cozy, clean room, excellent breakfast! Thought I did ask for my room to be cleaned and I found the front door wide open, not a pleasant surprise...

Really enjoyed my stay here good business venue

A beautiful and well appointed hotel on top of a large hill overlooking the entire area. Walking trails nearby up to a small castle and down to the town. Bed super comfortable. Staff was fantastic at all times. Food was ok but not great. Takes about 30 minutes to walk into town or approx 15 euro cab ride. Recommended.

A local gem on a beautiful location atop a hill overlooking the city of Reutlingen. The Achalm Hotel is a smart looking property that offers guests a trendy place to stay with rooms that offer great views. The restaurant offers excellent food from the region - think Swabian comfort food with just the right amount of finesse. You will need a reservation as it is very popular locally. The lobby is a spacious area that extends stunning views at sunset. Service is with a smile and very efficient while we visited. The breakfast is sumptuous and offers guests a wide variety of options including healthy eating. The hotel has an eco friendly approach which can be seen in their climate friendly ventilation system in the rooms. The rooms are functional and efficient spaces with trendy decor. I was surprised how spacious they felt. The highlight of the rooms are the views from the french windows. Parking is ample with guests having access to the basement parking garage. Easily one of the better places to stay in the area.

Hotel tale !!! Located in a stunning location on the mountain, from where an unforgettable view opens! Excellent breakfasts, well, as always in Germany! And by the word “stunning SPA” with the open-air swimming pool !!! I advise everyone to visit the hotel! But to get there, of course, by car.

Always visit Reutlingen but there was no good business hotel. This hotel has all necessary things for business and also fun and rest. The room is small but modernly designed and clean. The best part is the view which we can enjoy whole view of city from your room and restaurants. Great places at good places.

We were there over the weekend and can only recommend it to everyone. Nice room, a nice wellness area and a great breakfast! The associated restaurant was awesome! I've eaten countless roast beef onions and this one was actually the best! I will definitely be back and if it's just for dinner! The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. All round a great weekend, which I can only recommend to everyone!
